Ok after some painful trial and error I have successfully created a simple CFC, accessed it via flash remoting and delivered a single string to a flex control. It took way too many trials before I figured out the right "services-config.xml" file I needed to be using.
I'm living with a couple of work arounds. I develop and save my flex files to a local projects folder. I then have to manually copy the bin folder to my web server. When I do, I can run the flex app, but the url is a bit awkward, http://flexmobilecalendar/MobileCalendar/bin/MobileCalendar.html. So what can I change to improve this? I have not yet tried debugging, I suspect it may not work. Rick, it sounds like we have very similar setups. I am also developing against a remote CF dev server, Enterprise, multi-home. Can you provide a quick run down of the appropriate project settings you use to make this all work? Now, I can start seeing how I can grow this into an actual functional and useful application. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| ColdFusion MX7 by Adobe® Dyncamically transform webcontent into Adobe PDF with new ColdFusion MX7.
