Not to get too far OT here, but there's also Xamlon Flash edition that
should soon be a great alternative to Flex / Laszlo.
http://www.xamlon.com/software/xamlonpro/flash/

This lets you code .swf files with XAML markup and your .NET language of
choice for the code-behind. Hello XAML + C# (or VB.NET, or JScript, or
whatever) for .swf file output.

...not yet released, but when this hits the market it's going to
revolutionize .swf development. Good by ActionScript, hello C#! It's
not even a server product either. Jesse Ezell said it best:
http://weblogs.asp.net/jezell/archive/2005/03/11/394242.aspx -- "with
something like this out on the market, buying Flex or Lazslo would be
such a lame decision."

So if you're currently looking at Flex and haven't decided yet, try out
the preview of Xamlon Flash and see if it suits your needs.. I can't
imagine pricing will be as high as Flex is (and reportedly will be come
april)
