One-on-one chats could be saved and made searchable. But it seems like no one liked my idea anyway, so I won't bother with it.

We could have a "lobby", a few breakout rooms (eg: "Flex Components", "DataGrid", "BlazeDS"), and also allow users to create their own chat rooms (for one-on-one help). It's a lot easier to give/receive help when there is the possibility of immediate feedback
