The PowerSDR v2.0.0 Beta version (package) was sourced from SVN /branches/ke5dto/pb-pal revision number 3715.
The latest SVN /branches/ke5dto/pb-pal revision number is 3719. If you look in the SVN log, the only modification to the delivered binaries related to current production hardware is a new version of PortAudio (PA19.DLL) -Tim -----Original Message----- From: Steve Kallal [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, June 05, 2010 11:55 PM To: Tim Ellison; [email protected] Subject: RE: [FlexEdge] pb-pal vs. V2 beta Thanks Tim! Please explain pa19.dll in a little more detail. I don't understand the comment. 73, Steve N6VL -----Original Message----- From: Tim Ellison [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, June 05, 2010 7:19 PM To: Steve Kallal; [email protected] Subject: RE: [FlexEdge] pb-pal vs. V2 beta PowerSDR v2.0.0 Beta 2 is not in SVN. It was a "limited" release beta that utilizes the new integrated software installer which can be downloaded from the FlexRadio web site's Downloads page. BTW, that "very moment" I mentioned below has passed by. The PB-PAL SVN has an updated pa19.dll in it now. -Tim -----Original Message----- From: Steve Kallal [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, June 05, 2010 9:49 PM To: Tim Ellison; [email protected] Subject: RE: [FlexEdge] pb-pal vs. V2 beta Hmmmm... I thought pb-pal was the V2 beta. So where is the V2 beta in SVN? 73, Steve N6VL -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tim Ellison Sent: Thursday, June 03, 2010 11:23 PM To: Gary Patterson; [email protected] Subject: Re: [FlexEdge] pb-pal vs. V2 beta At this very moment, very little. The Beta 2 has the required software to operate the new ATU for the FLEX-3000 where the SVN does not. Based on the bug reports, the trouble is not a result of the code, per se, but database issues and the location of the binaries based on operating system and user rights combinations. -Tim -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Gary Patterson Sent: Friday, June 04, 2010 12:57 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [FlexEdge] pb-pal vs. V2 beta Its quiet so I will ask this question. What is the relationship between pb-pal and V2 beta. Is V2 based on some svn level of pb-pal. If so, why would successful pb users be having trouble with V2. gary _________________________________________________________________ The New Busy think 9 to 5 is a cute idea.
