Has anybody tested both versions (svn and 2.0beta) to see if one uses
less cpu .... I wondered if any performance tuning was part of beta 2.0

Not exactly. It will look the same, but the PowerSDR v2.0.0 Beta
delivers software that is closed source which is not included in the SVN
versions. Specifically the new upgraded ATU code for the FLEX-3000 and
the proper version of pal.dll for the installed Firewire driver.

So if I run pb-pal revision number 3715, it should look and run like the
v2.0.0 Beta ??

look in the SVN log, the only modification to the delivered binaries
related to current production hardware is a new version of PortAudio
(PA19.DLL)

so, why would successful pb users be having trouble with V2.
