Currently you cannot send RX1 down one VAC and RX2 down another. Don’t know
when it’s due to be done .

To output RX1 and RX2 on to separate stereo channels

Right next to the MultiRX button there is a slider -- slide that all the way
left to send RX1 to left channel.

To the right of the RX2 button is a slider labeled Pan – slide that all the
way right and RX2 will go through the right channel.

Subject: [FlexEdge] VAC and PSDR

Could someone give a straight answer as to whether it's possible for the

2nd receiver of the 5000A to be programmed to use VAC (with separate

cables from the main receiver) and if it is, when? A major part of

using a second receiver would be to run programs connected to it, like

some other radios can do. Basically two radios in one, which is what I

thought the Flex advertisements suggested. Then again maybe I

misinterpreted and hoped for too much.

Also there is the suggestion of breaking out the audio from each

receiver ported to the stereo jack on the back of the Flex 5000A. As in

right and left channels. I have not been able to get this to work. In

fact I cannot get any audio from that jack. Any suggestions as to what

I'm doing incorrectly, or again am I misinterpreting it's use.

Thanks, Vic K4XTT
