Their specs leave a lot to be desired, and who is Apache Labs?  What amateur 
products does Apache Labs make?

There are no transmitter specs, and no specs about the required software.  I 
don't see enough info to make a comparison.  I wonder if Apache has a history 
of SDR equipment?
