The runway definitions in Airport/default.apt.gz describe most of KEDW runways as "NLVNN" with the second letter standing for ... err nothing! According to docs-mini/AptNavFAQ.FlightGear.html there are only the following letters defined: A=Asphalt, C=Concrete, T=Turf, D=Dirt, G=Gravel, W=Water, X=Other But there's no 'L', and no other runway in the whole worlds has an 'L' runway surface.
