Oxygen VX-1 (32 bit), ATI Rage Fury Maxx (32 bit) and Voodoo3 
(16 bit) on an Athlon and a Pentium.  They all do it, although I'm 
pretty sure that the Oxygen and Pentium together didn't.

This is with keyboard.

Yes, I should have this sorted by early next week.  As long as we 
regard it as a bug-fix and not a feature then it should make 0.7.9 ;-))

Yes, sounds aren't my forte unfortunately.  Still, it'll be something 
to look forward to in 0.7.10 / 0.8.0.
