* On a G400 card with lots of memory, I'm getting 4fps out-the-box.
This is down from the high 20s previous versions. It improves
to 14fps if I get rid of the Textures.high directory temporarily.
Thus, the decision making for texture sizing could be better.
* Anybody who just blindly downloads it and tries it will immediately
throw it away; 4fps is basically unflyable for a novice non-pilot.
Can we just notice that the system has been below 10fps for a second,
pick a highres texture at random and force it down to lowres,
wait a second and repeat ... until the framerate gets over 10 again?
* The default model ("v" key) is still the blue-and-yellow glider.
Given we're pretending to be a C172 from the box, this is odd.
Everything else seems to work as expected, for better or for worse.
