This makes sense to me. My thought is that it would be helpful to take what we have now for view code and merge it in to one viewer class. That class would have the outputs that David described a couple days ago and be driven by object properties (not to be confused with property tree). The goal would be to get things organized in one place, duplicated code merged, and perhaps a little gratuitis code commenting so that we can all see what the requirements as they were are, before going on to reevaluating those requirements. This would be a first pass so that those concerned can participate in the higher level conceptualization that would lead to a redesign of view code, which would likely look little like what we have now. I'm willing to take this one if for no other reason than to fully understand what we have. It'll take a few evenings though, so I just want to make sure that 1) this is a good first step in other's eyes and 2) someone else isn't doing the same exact thing.
