A patch that Curt added back in October is the root of the problem. The code is adjusting the Target heading with the difference between the FDM heading and the DG instrumentation. If there is no DG then the DG indicated heading doesn't change when the aircraft yaws so the gap just keeps getting bigger.
It isn't a YASim problem, other than those are the aircraft that don't have DG installed. BTW Andy, YASim is reporting /orientation/heading-deg -180 ~ 180 instead of normalized 0 to 360.
