There already is. There is a JSBSim F-16 creted by Erik Hofman. Erik: Is that in FlightGear CVS already?
The F-16 configuration is in the base package, but no 3D model yet.
I must say I would like to see an F-16 model, but I doubt the Falcon models will do without the explicit permission from *all* the authors to publish it under the GPL.
