IMO the 'new' series is far to blue

I am working my way through to see how all fits together.

As I see it now the original behavior is excellent for sunny, non cloudy and high visibility days (California?).

The new behavior is much more like a standard cloudy medium visibility days.

So now I have to find a way to interpolate between them.

IMO the 'old' series is probably too bright but has a better 'hue'.

I *really* don't understand why all of the lighting isn't property'ized
as all this is very machine, 'current machine settings' and current conditions dependent

This would be a last update to he sky coloring. Just to override the default Environment driven behavior.

The idea that we can set 'gamma correct' colors with a 'fixed' group of settings for all machine , all atmospheric and all weather conditions is almost 'laughable' :-))

Ah, there's the challenge.
