Maybe we could just name the xml wrappers in Aircraft with the words alpha or beta (something shorter than "experimental" or "underdevelopement").
For example:
b707-alpha-jsbsim.xml
Would indicate that the model for the boeing 707 is an unfinished JSBsim model.
Hmm, how about not adding <aircraft>-set.xml files to CVS (note: without jsbsim/uiuc/yasim in the name) before the model has matured enough.
Then you would have: fokker50-jsbsim-set.xml but not: fokker50-set.xml
It would be not be too hard to check for jsbsim/uiuc/yasim while searching for description files for the --show-aircraft option.
