I haven't done alias 'set' files for the a/c I done on the basis that there's likely to be a JSBSim or uiuc fdm for them at some point in the future, so currently they're specified by adding '-yasim' (the fdm I've used) to the a/c name i.e. b52-yasim, an225-yasim etc.
I guess to run under the above that the b52-yasim or an225-yasim
needs to be set somewhere on a command line.
It was just that when I tried to use these A/C FG through up an
unable to find aero message.
As I run from a .BAT file and I guess quite a few others do.To negate
post's here it would be just as easy to put the SET.XML files in.All I did was
to take the SET.XML files from 9.2 and stick them in the relevant A/C folder
problem solved.
We could add the default -set.xml file as an alias until we come to the conclusion that the UIUC or the JSSBim variant is much more realistic (if they ever appear).
Getting back to the original topic.I downloaded the Hawaii scenery today.(Gee I
love flying in the islands). And all the hardstand was concrete color. How hard would
it be to make all hardstand concrete untill we have a better asphalt texture.
Don't suppose we could make Hawaii the base scenery.(just hoping)LOL.
