As demonstrated before [1], this is quite easy to do even with Nasal[2]. The only thing that needs to be implemented in fgfs is a way to tell it where to store the files. Something like FG_HOME/--fg-home. Paul was already working on that for exactly this purpose[3], but somehow he felt discouraged and stopped (IIRC). m.
