Hi,
 I'm learning NASAL in order to animate a few aircraft parts. I played 
around and managed to get an animation wich fits fine to the movement of 
a nose strut shock absorber (the ones like the C172 has at the nose 
wheel). The whole movement is started by a single property in the tree 
and can be adapted to a variety of similar geometries.

Well, making it work was fun :-) Now I wonder if that could be 
integrated in a plane model and if there's some support in the dynamics 
of the aircrafts for ground-wheel_absorber contact.

Actual landing gear movements in FGFS seem to be limitated to 
extension/retraction but I don't see any shock absorbing simulation. Am 
I missing something?
