The only reason the pa24 has a different kap140.nas is to make the
autopilot react correctly to the lack of or loss of power.  I have not
tested using my edits with the c172p, but if the c172p has the property
/systems/electrical/outputs/autopilot value greater than or equal to 8
volts, it will work fine.

In the pa24, all the radio stack including the autopilot are off until
both the master switch and the avionics master switch are on.  If either
is turned off, the radio stack goes dead (as in the real AC).

When Vegard Ovesen edits are available, I plan to incorporate them in
the pa24 version.
