Hi Richard

first thank you very much for your answer.

But I don't think the "vsync problem" is causing the "framerate
hesitation problem". I just mentioned it in my answer to show that
FlightGear has/had several different problems which cause display
stutter problems.

I am not able to analyse only to report. But it seems to me that
something is making this trouble which is called very regularly by a
timer (nearly every second) and makes variable delays depending on other
tasks, ie. AI manager or loading process of scenery objects.

My shouting of "me too" was only to confirm that there is a serious
problem for *many* FlightGear users - at least for those who put some
more workload on the FG system (ie dense scenery, AI, multiplayer or
something like that).
