The code for the propeller model already does drag, assuming the
negative c_thrust values are good.

I meant setting it to zero however you were trying to set
propulsion/engine[*]/set-running to 0.  Just use the FG property instead
of the JSB property and let FG propagate it to JSBSim for you.  Note,
that in a JSB configuration file no leading slash loads you
into /fdm/jsb/ and the leading slash does not.
So /engines/engine[*]/running is the FG property.
