I've tried to run directly fgfs from cmd but unsuccessfully. I get the message:

Base package check failed ... Found version [none] at: \FlightGear
Please upgrade to version: 0.9.6
Hit a key to continue...

(I had defined manually the paths D:\Prog...\FlightGear; D:\Program..\FlightGear\bin\win32)

Sorry if you mentioned this already somewhere, but: does this problem also occur if you do not start FlightGear by using fgrun, but rather by starting fgfs(.exe) directly ?

For example, what happens if you change to FlightGear's directory and
execute:

    fgfs [enter]

(Just trying to figure out if this problem is specific to fgrun or also
happens with fgfs directly)

Thanks
