This simple answer is I can't lower flaps with
joystick button(s). I've zoomed into a view of
aircraft (tried several) wing, and tried every button.
No flap movement. Flaps will, however, lower and
raise with [ and ]. I also believe that left and
right brakes--parameters that are defined in
extreme-3d-pro.xml--aren't working. Button 1, defined
as "all breaks" stops aircraft, but no other buttons
appear to work the left or right breaks.
Since I don't have a good idea what other nifty
functions to assign to joystick, at this time, I would
simply like to believe that the stick is fully
functional in FG. Lowering and raising flaps with
keyboard is still an option. But eventually I'd like
to trim elevator, apply thrust reverse, and other
advanced functions with the joystick, right?
