Even when I put the engine at minimum!
That's caused by torque from the spinning prop. The
same happens in the real thing!
Just hold a bit of right rudder during the takeoff
roll, and straighten it out upon liftoff from runway
surface. This is one instance where separate rudder
and aileron control (from joystick or keyboard) is
helpful.
Notice that he said even when he pulls the throttle to idle ...
I'll leave this one up to the aerodynamasists to answer.
