It is a FG standard which apply to every aircraft. For the first time as an an experimentation you may modify directly that file ( after keeping a copy of the original) . In a second step you may build your own keyboard.xml file, according to your needs.
I did it in order to get an usable french-keyboard (the English Keyboard definition is rather crazy with any others keyboard, we could hope later on .........a development which will solve it).
