The approaches listed above require the use of libraries not well-suited
for compilation in cygwin or win32. the proposed solution is to download
precompiled versions of the libraries from the following location:
http://plausible.org/andy/fgfs-mingw-libs.tar.gz
However, the web server is non-existent according to my browser and and
therefore unable to download the precompiled libraries. I notice that
the guides are 1 1/2 years old, but is that perhaps an up-to-date
version of the libraries located somewhere accessible?
