Like so many people, computers aren't my job, so staying up to date is a real effort. I know 98se, and VB6 to a slightly above compentenacy level. I tried C++ for a while but wasn't getting enough exposure to make progress. I feel it would be the same with *nix. I am locked into windows with the little work involvement with computers I have.

I must admit that the open source philosophy is very atractive.

I have an open mind, but at the moment I have hardware constraints and time restraints (don't we all :-))

maybe down the track then you'll have me bugging you for answers...LOL
