Even splitting a window is not trivial in Blender. You have to right-click
on
the window border and select split. And chance are great you split the
adjacent
window because your mouse pointer doesn't lie on the right one when you
choose
the option. It took me a lot of time to do something useful with it. I
bought
books and tutorials before using those available on the Net. But now I find
AC3D awkward and and very limited and wait every new Blender release
eagerly.
This tool gives a lot to people that have the patience to learn it.
