Hi there,

Somehow, somewhere, FGFS is doing something that is either wrong, or
that exposes a problem. The question is: What?

Fgfs may be more demanding on your GPU than Torcs. A few things
I'd check...GPU fan, airflow around the GPU (80-way IDE ribbon
cables are good at blocking airflow). If everything hardware-wise
looks OK, then check /var/log/Xorg.0.log for error messages. dmesg
on the console may reveal problems too...

Are you able to try on other than Deb testing?

Actually, I know that other people from Brisbane are on this list, so
if you happen to read this, could you tell me what your cooling setup
is? Please?

Thats probably me. My system uses just the standard cooling items
that came with it, ie. CPU fan, GPU fan, and PSU fan. I leave the
entire system at default clock speeds. Having said that the recent
Brissie weather has been cooler, so I think climate is not a factor.

Kind regards,

Chris Wilkinson, Brisbane, Australia.
