Not to pick on Peru since I was born there, but my dad tells a story where
the peruvian air force wanted to do some target practice.  They towed an old
ship out into the ocean and proceeded to sink it.  At the end of the day
they had lost two aircraft and the ship was still floating ...

That said, I'm sure they've upgraded their aircraft and their training since
that story took place.
