this is also of great help to me, but I need to remove flightgear
0.9.10package and the attemped CVS install and I seem to have broken
everything,
can you quicklt describe how I do that,

Hi,
this would download the FG *OSG* CVS version.
To use the FG *PLIB* CVS version (as you suggested) you have to do
THE FIRST TIME:
SimGear CVS:
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/cvs/SimGear-0.3 login
password is "guest"
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/cvs/SimGear-0.3 co source
#do not forget to change the directory here!
cd source
cvs up -rPRE_OSG_PLIB_20061029
FlightGear CVS:
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/cvs/FlightGear-0.9 login
password is "guest"
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/var/cvs/FlightGear-0.9 co
source
#do not forget to change the directory here!
cd source
cvs up -rPRE_OSG_PLIB_20061029
(I am sure you can log into PRE_OSG_PLIB directly without the extra steps
but this is how I know and do it)
THE NEXT TIMES
you want to update your CVS system, you only go into the "data" folders
and type
cvs update -dP
