Hi! From what i understand, FlightGear can produce a Garmin compatible GPS data stream and Google Earth (Plus, Pro, Enterprise) can be feed with such a data stream. So in theory, i guess it would be possible to combine FlightGear with Google Earth in order to generate a high resolution szenario in addition to the FG output, i.e. on a second display. Could be very helpfull for VFR.
Somebody already tried that out?
