It may be loosely related, but I would like to make you know that I began to write the code to read the new X-Plane 850 file format. Airports and runways are already ready in FG (locally), and I am now trying to draw taxiways in the ground radar. genapt is a far next. I'll leave taxidraw to others. I write that because the new format has provisions to express line features and polygons that are not constrained to be rectangles.
