I'm > happy to help- I used to be on Windows for a long time, too. I've been on windows for my whole life. When I was five years old (i think) my dad got an AMD Athlon XP. Up untill then, he was using a Gateway 2000 486DX-2, so I got to use it. I can officially say that MS-DOS 6.0 and MS WIndows 3.1 were the first OS I ever used. I've been a windows user ever since (not that i LIKE microsoft, just I've been using windows for years)...
