I'm not sure this is true - I think you do have to fix the include paths
your build is using.

I don't believe the fltk configure script will reliably generate a
cross-compile build, I would not really persist with that as I don't
think it will work. But if you already have a hand-edited makeinclude
and config.h, you do not need to run configure anyway.

--without-x will not really work on any linux box I think - too many
dependencies!
