        With cocoa 1.3.x sudoku's system menubar item "Sudoku -> Hide Others"
        apparently has an ALT modifier, and I can confirm the "saucepan"
        is rightside up; the "pancake" is hovering in midair above the
        "saucepan".

        And when I run the "menubar" demo, where the menu bar is inside
        the app, the "saucepan" is upside down (eg. "Edit -> Undo"),
        where the pancake hit the ground and someone's about to cover
        it with the upside down saucepan. (I'm laughing as I type this)

        It does seem odd, considering the rest of the fonts are OK.

        However: I wouldn't worry too much, since in vi(1), the fl_shortcut.cxx
        source code shows the the pancake on the floor as well in the unix
Terminal:
        http://seriss.com/people/erco/fltk/tmp/saucepan.png

        ..so I'm guessing maybe we probably just have the wrong character code
        in the source. Currently the source reads:

 if (shortcut & FL_ALT)   {strcpy(p,"\xe2\x8e\x87"); p += 3;}   // [upsidedown
saucepan] alternative key symbol

        ..so maybe that \xe2\x8e\x87 (which I think is a unicode string) might
        be the wrong character..?
