When the Glasgow development team handed over CinePaint to me it was
based on FLTK1. Around that time, I was told that FLTK1 was officially
done and to never expect another 1.x release because the FLTK project
was moving to FLTK2.

I fixed a bug that caused FLTK1 to crash when enumerating the second
monitor in a dual monitor configuration. Without that, CinePaint would
crash hard if a second monitor was present. We had nobody working with
FLTK2. I put my bug-fixed version of FLTK1 into CinePaint CVS so other
developers could use it.

If that's a fork, then I forked it.
