At today's community meeting we went through and talked at length about the 
various sites that are hosted at the IDRC (potential candidates to move to 
static site generation) as well as criteria for selecting the static site 
generator we will use. The details are up on the wiki.

Next Steps:

Avtar and Jess to talk to site maintainers about converting the various sites
Perform a "user" test to ascertain the pain points of maintaining a static site 
with a git based (or simple front end) for those unfamiliar working with git
Coming up with a "spec" for determining when a site should be static or use a 
CMS. This will be used to determine how to build future sites.
Begin investigation of the various static site generators based on the 
specified criteria and come up with a recommendation for one to use.
