I sent in an update via email, but it hasn't got here yet. Anyway, I've got around this.
My email update: I think I might know what the problem is. I re- downloaded Fluid today, and I realised the zip was only ~600KB, where it should be 3.6MB. Funny thing is, The Unarchiver opened it, and it extracted Fluid.app. Fluid.app opened too, and worked fine. But it again created empty apps. So perhaps the problem is that the downloaded app is corrupt? I tried downloading with curl (Terminal), but that timed out at around 60%. Is this a problem with your server? Do you have a mirror? Well, I turned off all my 'internet apps', and retried the download with curl. The download completed, and it worked! Fluid is now creating proper apps, that open and work perfectly. :) On Dec 7, 5:09 am, "Todd Ditchendorf" <[email protected]> wrote: > apparently this is not at all unique to Fluid: > > http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=fluid&q=%22because+it+is+no... > > the first result is an forum discussion that appears to offer some > resolutions to this issue when encountered with other applications... > please note however, i haven't tried these steps, and dont necessarily > recommend trying them... proceed with caution. > > td --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "fluidapp" group.
