Todd,
I have built several SSB's since I first had the problem show up, and have
now tested ALL of them  The only ones I am seeing this problem with are the
three I have pointed to Google domains: GMail, Google Calendar, and Google
Docs.  My other 4 are Pandora, Meebo, Hulu, and my company's corp site.
 None of them exhibit this behavior.

Considering I have Google Gears installed with support for all three of
those "problem" sites, I wonder if it is related?
