one hot minute

Hello everyone, I'm planning a collaborative soundpiece and am looking for
contributors !!!

The plan is:
someone starts out with one minute of sound/music in mp3 and sends ist to the next
person, who adds something to the mix without lenghtening it and so on (like you did
with midi). Voilà, in the end we have a complex international one-minute-piece
consisting of influences all over the world. Everything is allowed as long as you add
something. (of course nobody seriously thought about removing)
So far, so good!

The only catch to it:
I would really like the mp3 to be in cd-quality (128kbps / stereo / 44kHz) meaning a
file size of ~950kb.
WAIT I can hear you protest !!!
You are right, BUT the great advantage is: We could add tiny little noises which won't
get lost to the last contributor, and it will be broadcastable / burnable if anyone so
desires! No sound gets lost during en/decoding, every crackle counts. We have the
whole palette from left to right and 50Hz to 20kHz.

Technical:
For those who fear large email-attachments we could alternatively set up a
freedrive-account or something, so that every paticipant could download the piece and
check the current progress.

Okay,
hope you're hot now! Don't hesitate a minute and be a part of it.
