We were contacted by the "curators" in february to collaborate and partecipate in this Apt. brain project, but then it was impossible to come to an agreement because 1) we were asked to pay and we refused, with many important Italian artist, and the most important Italian visual poets (I don't have a great consideration of the artist who pay...), 2) we were asked to create and curate a planetary web event but there was not space in catalogue and no money for our long work, so I wander which serious artist or professional, could work at this conditions... of course we refused, but in the original project presented in the Biennial, they included our names, an I personally had written a very good opinion about Brain Apt, to help the curators, to Mr Bonami, 2) So the most part of the Italian artist who remained in this exhibition are totally irrelevant and not significant (curators included... sorry, but we got the general landscape), this project is promoted by a school, so the most paer of the included artist are professor in that school or students who have payd. Some Italian artists wanted to sign a petition against the Brain Apt. curators, but I didnt sign it because I didnt want to be so bad with all that very joung students, who have paid, and who are surely the most important persons for me, anyway, the curators treated me very bad, is a shame to ask me money to participate in the Biennial, because in the last two Biennial I invited maybe 180 poets, artist, videoartist, videopoets and so on, of course without asking for money... What a shame Caterina
