How true! I remember the opening: my first contact with actual fluxus artists. Great moment, and I was there, not doing anything special, AND WE TALKED. (I remember you also, with an hawaian shirts, with AY-O). I'm so sad no to have been able to go this time. Fluxus? Present were Emily and Davidson - most definitely not snobs, Ben Vautier, Ben Patterson, Alain Arias Misson, Jon Hendricks, Yoko Ono, Takako Saito, Christian Xatrec, Martyn Ware, and a whole host of friends, children and locals - including the builders, electricians and plumbers who have worked on Archivio Emily Harvey over the past couple of years and who always come to the shows.  The openings in Venice have all been like this, great, relaxed celebrations - yes.  Full of snobs - No!
