I'm trying to convert DGN Annotation to pGdb Annotation. Some
Annotations have special characters to designate deviant character
spacings. For example: the character means the characters should be
double spaced. pGdb Annotation has a field called CharacterSpacing
that can be used to change character spacing. However, it's not
listed in the geodb_* format attributes. I tried to access the
CharacterSpacing field as a user attribute, but that doesn't work. Is
there any work-around to fill this field?
So far I've only come up with a solution where I create my own custom
field, fill it with neccessary values using the workbench I've
created, then go into ArcMap, and populate the CharacterSpacing field
with the values of my custom field. This seems sort of a clumsy way
to do things.
Any suggestions?
regards,
Marc
