FileMaker Pro is primarily a Windows OS deployed product. That trend
will accelerate and continue in my view. Windows logo certification has
any number of requirements about upgrades and resources being available.
Like them or not, they are what they are, and FMI is driven by them.

I am not going to get into discussions here or in other venues about the
benefits/drawbacks of one OS compared to another. Both have significant
strengths and significant weaknesses. I deploy with what a client has
unless (a) it doesn't work or (b) some compelling change is needed.

I also want to avoid speculating on whether current behavior on either
platform will persist into the future. There is nothing to be gained by that.
