Hi Thomas, Taking the opportunity to point out that "easy" is in the eye of the beholder (which takes nothing away from your statement, but expands on it). To me, there have been at least as many posts from folks trying to install and/or update FMP on OS/X and stumbling on silent failure due to "permissions" which set themselves, or don't, in some circumstances, and maybe others, all of which seems "unnecessary" to a primarily-Windows user like me ... as there have been folks who aren't used to this Windows requirement. >That doesn't make one better than the other- just differences.
