I've got it on, now. I tried every way I could to run it off the CD - I could find nothing anywhere that would run the optimizer, the defragmenter, or the speed disk (all the different things they call it). I read the Help Files, I read the book.... I could launch utilities, but then I had a limited set of choices, and none of them offered any sub-choices that I could recognize. And I tried again - equally unsuccessfully - to install it (this is SystemWorks 2002 - so I guess it's different from the version Ralph is running).
SO - I went ahead and installed IE6 (having had no problem with it after installing on my work computer this morning). And once THAT was on, the program installed, no problem. Kind of ticks me off that I have to have IE to even INSTALL this program. But anyway - it worked and its on my computer now and it did say it was installing the optimizer, so I think I'll be all set. Wish me well on the defragging!
