Donny Bahama: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ... I'm a webmaster and an x/html/php/mysql developer. ... I'll close this very long post with one final observation: PSPad *NEEDS* code folding. I've seen some of the other threads on this forum about this, and I just want to say that code folding is _absolutely essential_ for any decent code editor. ... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is definitely a *NEED*, but it has nothing to do with code folding. Developers relying on it in an X/HTML/PHP/MySQL environment should consider a cleaner approach; separating content, style and structure will not only improve maintenance of the code.. it should dramatically reduce, if not entirely eliminate any reliance on code folding. As code bases grow large, this becomes increasingly relevant. I wouldn't turn it down, but I agree with Carbonize. -- <http://forum.pspad.com/read.php?2,40270,40288> PSPad freeware editor http://www.pspad.com
