Hi, it seems, unfortunately, that no new insights regarding this bug appeared in the latest observations. Maybe there is a more detailed specification, e.g. in the post nr. 64, the faulty character tends to appear in place of the closing bracket } if it is originally preceded by a tab. It doesn't seem to appear on the position of } as the first, single character of the line. The place of this kind of file corruption can generally be distant from the place being edited. Furhtermore, no clear dependencies could be identified sofar (e.g. specific setting like syntax highlighter, bracket highligting, local or remote files etc.).
