There are a number of situations which can cause unexpected Zoom All
behavior. It's probably a good idea to correct them. The one which most
closely matches Mr. Velander's question, as many have noted -- never saw so
much response to one question before -- is a hidden comments. Using select
outside will not delete these comments without deleting the components they
belong to.
However, once those components are selected, conditional edits (using the
fact that they are selected) can be done to (1) unhide the comments, then
(2) center them or otherwise establish autopositioning, then (3) hide them
again.
Other possible causes would be, as mentioned, an invisible room. This may
have been the problem that Ms. Scott reported.
Primitives outside the workspace may also cause this, I think, which can
only be fixed, usually, by moving them back into the workspace (if
selected, they will move with other selections) and then deleting them. But
that was not the problem here.
